Artwork guidelines
Print-ready in ten minutes.
We want to give you the best possible print quality. Follow these size and artwork guidelines and we can process your order quickly — any questions, call our production team.
Paper sizes
Every A size fits inside the one before.
Halve an A0 sheet and you get A1. Halve that, A2 — and so on. Hover a size to see it in proportion.
A0 · 841 × 1189mm
- Bleed — 5mm beyond trim (25mm for banner hems)
- Trim — the finished size
- Safe area — keep text 3mm inside (10mm on posters)
Bleed & safe area
Edge to edge, without the edge cases.
Extend backgrounds and images 5mm past the trim so there are no white slivers after cutting, include crop marks, and keep important text safely inside.

Preferred formats
Please send artwork as a PDF at full, ½ or ¼ size. We also accept JPG files (maximum 300dpi). For any other format, please contact us first.

Sending your artwork
Upload files with your order request, or email multiple files to [email protected] quoting your order reference. Very large files? Get in touch and we’ll sort the best way to send them.

Artwork setup
Please send artwork that is ready to print. We’ll contact you if your artwork is set up incorrectly — following these guidelines helps you avoid any setup charge.

Bleed
A minimum of 5mm bleed at full size, and 25mm for vinyl banner hems. Artwork must include crop marks to show the finished size.

Print area
Keep text at least 3mm from the edge of the page. For posters we advise keeping text at least 10mm from the edge.

Photos & camera images
Photos should be a maximum of 300dpi and scaled to the size they will appear. Please don’t enlarge images beyond their original size. If using Photoshop TIFFs, turn LZW compression off.

Imported graphics
Please don’t use graphics from non-design programs such as Word, PowerPoint or Excel, or images from websites — they’re low resolution and won’t print to a quality standard.

Fonts & text
Please use legitimate PostScript fonts. If you must use TrueType fonts, make sure they are converted to curves (outlines).

Colour proofs & colour match
We can’t guarantee to exactly colour match, reproduce Pantone colours, or match new work to previous prints. Want certainty? Request a colour proof — production proofs can be sent within 1 working day of receiving your artwork. If you proceed without one, we can’t accept liability for colour variation (conditions apply).

Artwork proofs
If we’ve made artwork changes on your behalf we’ll email you a proof for approval. We can’t print until you approve it — and waiting for approval may extend turnaround times.
